The CR 125 returns to North America this year
with a completely new look. The changes include the new red/white color scheme, a new tank and side panels that match the
four-stroke design. The Husqvarna CR125 remains a benchmark in the world of motocross. As times change, it still performs
in the top of its class, even against its four-stroke competitors. The CR125 is the perfect machine for young motocross enthusiasts
who prefer the manuverability and fun-to-ride characteristics offered only by a two-stroke. The 2006 version has been further
refined by the addition of a new Ohlins shock absorber system and new forks. The all-new 45mm Marzocchi forks feature a sealed
cartridge design that offer improved damping unser the most demanding conditions. The Ohlins shock absorber is at the leading
edge of suspension technology and has been taken directly from racing versions and fitted to production machinery. New tapered
handlebars are adjustable to improve riding position and safety. New longer-lasting composite brake pads have been fitted
to the front offering more bite. The rear rotors have been increased from 220mm in diameter to 240mm and are equiped with
Brembo calipers. The already potent 125 mill has been enhanced in the performance department through meticulous tuning of
the intake manifold, exhaust system and airbox. As with all Husqvarna motocross models, a fork mounted “holeshot device”
comes standard.

The TC 450 and TC 510 differ only in displacement
created by an increased stroke. Both bikes have been thoroughly tested by team Husqvarna riders throughout the course of the
World Championships.
The 2006 version of the TC 450 is the exact replica
of the bike raced in the MX1 World Championships. Most noteworthy for 2006 are the new 50mm Marzocchi sealed cartridge forks.
The larger diameter tubes help eliminate flex. The triple clamps are also new and accommodate a 200mm wide hub, and a lighter,
single-screw, steering head. The Ohlins shock absorber is adjustable for spring preload and both compression and rebound damping.
It has shown itself to be an excellent addition to the bike particularly under difficult conditions and at high working temperatures.
The front brake pads have also been replaced by longer-lasting yet more efficient units. The new 28 mm handlebars can be adjusted
for both height and offset. The engine now produces smoother power delivery thanks to an increase in valve sizes. The intake
valves have been enlarged from 33mm to 37mm and the exhaust valves from 28.5mm to 31mm. The intake cams are also new as are
the intake and exhaust manifolds. The combustion chamber has been redesigned to offer high-turbulence characteristics. The
forged high-resistance aluminum piston is a totally new design and has two “O” rings. The new primary drive has
wider ratio that make the engine more tractable. The bell housing is made of high-resistance aluminum. Second gear is taller
to offer superb standing start performance and improved handling in corners. The electric start system has been replaced by
a new kick-start system incorporating a redesigned kick-start lever for easy, safe starting even under difficult conditions.
This new system reduces the overall weight of the bike by nearly nine pounds. An electric starter kit can be ordered separately.
The new, Arrow all-titanium exhaust system conforms to the new 2006 FIM noise level standards. The red/ white color scheme
is sure to turn heads.

The 2006 Husqvarna TE610 elevates the Dual Sport
category to a whole new level. This versatile bike was purpose built as a pure Dual Sport machine, combining the perfect blend
of power, control, and comfort. Based on the SM 610, the new Husqvarna TE 610 shares much of its lineage with its competition
Enduro cousins. It is a true performance machine, capable of taking you just about anywhere in comfort and style. The Husqvarna
TE 610 is perfect for those of you that want a bike with muscle but also class. The new Husqvarna TE610 also took up the challenge
of racing, and in the last “Rally di Sardegna” and won the “Marathon” category for production bikes.
The TE 610 combines a strong character with classic good looks. Part of its brilliance comes from the frame that has been
re-tuned to cope with daily road use but is still powered by one of the best engines in production today, especially in the
low-medium RPMs. The new TE610 has had some highly significant performance oriented modifications to the cylinder and head
as well as now being fitted with a new Keihin carburetor.
The 3.7 gallon tank allows for longer range and
has a locking fuel cap. The digital instrumentation—which displays the normal warning lights, turn indicators, high/low
beam, speed, mileage, rpm, and time—also features a trip meter and displays service intervals. The handlebars and controls
are very similar to those found on the TE 450/510 racing version. The frame was stiffened and strengthened using traditional
steel tubing with less steering column area and by using a more compact single tube cradle.
The suspension and brakes are the same as those
on the TE models, but with lighter, completely adjustable settings. The Marzocchi 45mm inverted forks have adjustable compression
and rebound damping. The rear suspension features a redesigned linkage with a new progression curve. The swingarm is the same
as used on the 450/510 racing models. The new Sachs shock absorber is fully adjustable for compression and rebound.
Brembo Brakes are fitted both front and rear.
The front uses a floating 260mm disc with new 4-piston calipers , while the rear is fitted with a 220mm disc.
The TE 610 has been designed to allow passengers
to ride in comfort, thanks to an improved seat and anti-slip passenger footpegs. Saddlebags are also available and attach
to special clips fitted to the rear frame and fender.
The 610 engine offers many improvements over previous
versions. The engine is significantly more powerful than the previous version thanks to new higher compression pistons and
the new Keihin MX 41 carburetor. Power output at the flywheel has increased to about 53 horsepower at 7,000 rpm. The 4 valve,
single overhead cam and rocker arm system has variable valve springs and a new timing chain tensioner to reduce noise. A counterbalencer
is used to offset the vibration normally associated with large single-cylinder motors. The engine has twin oil pumps. One
pump supplies oil to the head and crankshaft, while the second pump services the crankcase and the gearbox.
Other design elements that were included specifically
to improve performance include the single pipe exhaust system with integrated catalytic converter and a new cooling system
featuring an electric fan, thermostat, and redesigned air box.
